Junior OT Security Engineer (m/f/x)

Full-time (38,5h) for our office in Vienna

As one of the industry leaders in Security Software Products, IKARUS is continuously on track to shape the international IT security landscape. The products developed by IKARUS, as well as the partner products from Mandiant and Nozomi ensure the IT security of numerous clients daily. To professionalize our services and products and to expand our Managed Defense team, we are looking for you.

Your mission:

You participate in the preparation and installation of customer demos, test runs, and Proof of Value (PoV) for OT safety sensor systems
You will work closely with our sales team, developing solutions and gathering customer requirements
You are responsible for system integration of OT safety sensor systems in customer environments
You support our customers during pre and post-sales activities
You also work together with our partners in the area of OT-Security

Your qualifications:

Completed technical education (HTL, studies or similar)
Ideally, first professional experience in customer-oriented functions e.g. in the field of security consulting, automation, system integration in the areas of ICS (Industrial Control Systems), OT (Operational Technology), building automation and IoT (Industrial Internet of things)
Know-how in the field of automation technology, information technology, cyber security or similar
Understanding of complex networks, industrial protocols, and network technologies
Good knowledge of German and English
Enjoy finding and solving problems as part of a motivated team
