New IKARUS Portal for IKARUS Cloud Security Services

The new IKARUS portal will replace the previous admin interface for managing IKARUS Cloud Security Services from August 2022.

The following services are included:

  • IKARUS mail.security
  • IKARUS anti.virus in the cloud
  • IKARUS mobile.management
  • IKARUS web.security
  • IKARUS wifi.security

Organisational management for the management of multiple licences and users

Especially for resellers and sysadmins of large structures, the new IKARUS portal brings optimised organisation management: administrators can switch between different accounts with just one click and save a lot of organisational effort and time.

It is also possible to create any number of users with different authorisation levels––from global admin to read-only user––per organisation. For complete transparency, the logs will trace and show you all activities of all users.

Optimised performance and intuitive user interface

The simplified account management goes hand in hand with performance optimisations: Thanks to modern code structure and reduced reloads with the same information quality, operation is fast and pleasant.

The new IKARUS portal is available in German, English and Bulgarian. It has a dark and light mode and of course supports two-factor authentication (2FA) for secure user accounts.

Migration process and creation of new users

The migration to the new portal will take place automatically from August 2022. When logging in for the first time–once at https://cloud.mymailwall.com to initiate the switch to the new portal–, we will guide each user through a short migration process in which a personal account is created and the settings can be adjusted. Subsequently, you can add any number of additional users with different roles by entering an e-mail address. It is no longer possible to switch to the old portal. After setting up the new account once, you can log in at https://portal.ikarus.at.

Administrators see a list of their organisations as the start screen, with the organisation name corresponding to the customer number according to the login information. Individual notes on the organisation can be stored in the comment field and used as search criteria.

Direct customers without organisation administration will see a dashboard with reports and information on their products or the organisation settings for their own account.

Flexible disclaimer for incoming and outgoing emails

You can switch between the activated IKARUS Cloud Services as usual by clicking in the left menu bar.

In the settings of their incoming and outgoing routes, IKARUS mail.security-customers will find the new option to have their defined disclaimer text displayed either at the beginning or at the end of an email. With a short info text, such as “Virus- and Spam-checked by IKARUS mail.security” or “IKARUS mail.security scanned this e-mail for signs of malicious code before sending it to you”, you can inform your contacts that you have taken appropriate technical measures to minimise cyber-risks.
