Performance and design optimisations

Most of the ongoing development work takes place invisibly. Regular updates of the virus databases, feature updates and product renewals are the most apparent.

In the background, however, we are continuously working on enhancements and updates to our detection technologies as well as on performance optimisations. On the one hand, because speed is a relevant factor in threat prevention, and on the other hand, because performance is a valued advantage of our anti-malware solutions: The IKARUS scan.engine is one of the fastest systems on the international market, and our antivirus solutions for Windows and Android convince our customers with lean development and resource efficiency.

The IKARUS cloud.security interface enable the central management of all IKARUS cloud services for endpoint, mobility, e-mail security and secure web and wifi gateways. As the control and information hub for many features and data, we place great value on stability and efficiency.

In the past weeks, the performance of the interface has already been optimised and the number of reloads for data display could be reduced while maintaining the same data quality and response speed. Further quality optimisations are in development and will be rolled out gradually. A redesign of central areas and features is also planned for the coming months.
