13 October 2023, Campus St. Pölten
The exchange of knowledge and information is clearly the focus of the IT Security Community Xchange 2023 (IT-SECX 2023). The programme of the conference day is correspondingly packed: In five halls, cyber security experts will speak, demonstrate, and inform about the many aspects of the conference topic of cloud security. The topics include among others vulnerability management and scans, incident response readiness, red, blue, and purple teams, ChatGPT and deepfakes, supply chain attacks, industrial coffee machines and often overlooked attack vectors.
The keynote speech in English on the topic of “Scaling Security: Works on my machine doesn’t work on your machine” by Marion Marschalek, Senior Cloud Security Engineer at Amazon Web Services, will begin at 4:30 pm in the Great Ballroom.
Herbert Dirnberger, Industrial Cyber Security Expert at IKARUS, will dive deep into the world of Industrial Security at 7:15 pm in Lecture Hall 1 under the title “OT Security B-Sides: Play and Run” – all the way to the hidden vulnerabilities and unsolved problems of OT (and IT) networks. With vivid practical examples and the use of open-source playbooks, Dirnberger gives all interested parties practical guidance and actionable information to improve their incident response capabilities in the field of industrial cyber security.
