IKARUS mobile.management – Server
Version 6.20.xx

Release notes

Release date 17. June, 2026

Features and adaptations

  • A new action for Android devices has been implemented. High Importance messages are push messages that need to be confirmed in the MDM client by the device’s user.
  • Several Dashboard improvements have been made, including improved visibility of labels and headers as well as better alignment of the boxes.
  • It is now possible to perform full text searches in drop-down menus in actions.
  • An option has been implemented to hide configurations created in [Global] from tenant view.
  • DEP profiles in Settings > Apple can now be copied.

Further changes

  • MDM clients 6.17 or older are now considered deprecated.
  • Added and updated the model list database with latest Apple products.
  • Removed Samsung apps from Kiosk configuration that were not available anymore.
  • Added missing Audit log events when renewing an Apple Push certificate.
  • Added checks for Apple Push certificate upload to prevent initial upload of certificate that might not belong to the correct instance.
  • URL shortener was removed.
  • Fixed an issue where a specific response did not provide correct content type in headers.
  • Added more information to the Audit log regarding a device wipe.
  • Added missing Wiki links to certain brandings.
  • The sorting of some DEP profile options was improved.
  • Default filter for device action history has been changed to “Recent” to display a longer time period.
  • Group membership view in Users and devices was improved to provide a better overview.
  • Added more information to “Tenant can’t be changed for this device” error in directory service sync script. It is now displaying the affected user.
  • Fixed an issue with “supervised” flag in Operations that caused a condition to only check for iOS devices, not all supervised devices.
  • Fixed an issue with a message for deletion of multiple users showing an incorrect number of affected devices.
  • Improved the preview of changes for bulk deletion in Users and devices.
  • Removed the password compliant option in Inventory for MacBooks as this was not reported by MacOS.
  • “Base DN” is now mandatory for LDAP connections.
  • Added “Newer version available” condition support for Kiosk Settings app.
  • Added new iOS 26 system apps “Games” and “Preview” in application list drop-down.
  • Added a check to prevent attempts to download the Kiosk client from no longer existing locations.
  • Fixed an issue where the creation of a non-iOS and non-Android device defaulted to require specific information of at least one of these platforms.
  • Added missing translations of country names in region selector.
  • Fixed an issue where nested JSON data was incorrectly parsed for configurations, preventing configuration data from being shown in UI.
  • Added a missing label for the Android Enterprise status report.
  • Improved the handling when applying an Android restriction that uses native and manufacturer API. Previously if both were sent and only one failed the whole action was shown with an error. Now the action is still considered as executed successfully.
  • Fixed inconsistent headers for different kinds of reports.
  • Fixed an issue that updating a configuration sometimes did not provide the same options as creating a new configuration.
  • Fixed an issue where editing and saving a configuration with no changes could result in the configuration getting a new UUID, which caused it to no longer work correctly with configuration specific conditions.
  • Logic for handling applications, that are no longer available in their respective stores was overhauled. Actions and interactions using these packages should now clearly indicate their status.
  • Fixed an issue in the Models report incorrectly counting devices with an unknown model.
  • Lost mode status in device inventory was not supported by MacOS and therefore removed. Label for “Find my” locator service was improved.
