Forty years ago, the story of IKARUS began in Zell am See – not with the ambition to build a company, but with the desire to protect a customer.

A response to a specific challenge evolved into a commitment to take responsibility, share knowledge, and contribute to the advancement of cybersecurity. Today – four decades later – our responsibility extends far beyond the boundaries of our company.

Over the years, a network has grown around IKARUS, bringing together people who have accompanied us on our journey, partners, friends, institutions, and representatives from business, academia, politics, and communities across Europe.

People who continue to shape this journey to this day.
