When you use our contact forms, we collect the personal data you voluntarily provide. This data is processed solely for the purpose of handling your inquiry. No further processing will take place beyond this scope.

The processing of your personal data is based on your consent pursuant to Article 6(1)(a) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Your data will be deleted no later than six months after collection, unless you request its deletion at an earlier point in time.

Use of Email Address for Sending Newsletters

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we will use your email address solely for the purpose of sending you the newsletter. The processing of your personal data is based on your consent pursuant to Article 6(1)(a) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Use of Cookies

We use “cookies” on our website and landing pages, including for analytical purposes via the web analytics platform Matomo (see the following section “Matomo”).

An exception applies to our webshop at https://shop.ikarus.at, where cookies are set for security purposes and user identification. These cookies are stored on the user’s device but only after the “Allow Cookies” button has been activated in the cookie banner.

The cookies become invalid upon logging out of the webshop.

This website uses the Matomo web analytics platform, which enables us to analyze traffic and usage patterns on our website. No personal data is collected, shared with third parties, or used for any other purpose.

    Data subjects have the right to obtain information about the personal data processed by IKARUS, including the purposes of processing, categories of personal data, and the planned storage duration.
  2. Right to Rectification and Completion – Article 16 GDPR
    Data subjects have the right to request that inaccurate personal data be corrected and incomplete data be completed.
  3. Right to Erasure (“Right to be Forgotten”) – Article 17 GDPR
    Data subjects have the right to request the deletion of their personal data stored by IKARUS, unless the processing is necessary for exercising the right of freedom of expression and information, compliance with a legal obligation, or the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims.

    Data subjects have the right to object at any time to the processing of their personal data when such processing is based on IKARUS’s legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Upon objection, the data will be deleted unless compelling legitimate grounds for processing exist.

    Data subjects have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. This may be the authority of the data subject’s habitual residence, place of work, or place of the alleged infringement.
